Russell M. Whitehouse, CPA, President:

Russell M. Whitehouse graduated from the Utah State University School of Accounting in 1984. He passed the Uniform Certified Public Accounting Exam soon thereafter and has been practicing in public accounting since then. He has chosen to specialize in tax planning/compliance for individuals and closely held businesses. He is considered a small business specialist and teaches regularly as a guest lecturer for the SBA-SCORE Program and the IRS Small Business Tax Education Program. He has written several articles and presented at conferences for Utah State University Tax School, a program of Continuing Professional Education for other CPA's. He is a former chair of the Federal Taxation Committee of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. In 1992, Mr. Whitehouse started the accounting firm of Whitehouse & Company, CPA's. He is presently the principal shareholder in the firm. The firm has been through several peer reviews and has earned unqualified opinions for all reviews, indicating that the firm and it's personnel have stringently adhered to standards promulgated by the American Institute of Public Accountants.

Nick Buonocore, Enrolled Agent, Partner, Business Tax Advisor, QuickBooks Pro Advisor:

Nick was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah. He attended the University of Phoenix where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He spent five years working for H&R Block's Western corporate office where he held several positions. He brings a wide range of business experience especially in the restaurant and retail areas as well as Individual and Business Tax Planning. Nick joined the firm of Whitehouse and Company, CPA's in August 2005 and was made Partner in 2008.

Cheryl Clawson, CPA, Associate:

Cheryl was born in Denver, CO. She graduated magna cum laude from Metropolitan State College in Denver in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. She has practiced in Washington, Colorado, California and Utah. She has been with Whitehouse & Company since its inception. Cheryl is very knowledgable in the preparation of Individual, Business and Estate tax returns. 

Justin R. Baugh, EA, Senior Tax Manager:

Justin graduated from Southern Utah University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1997 and a Masters of Accountancy degree in 1998. Justin has over 20 years of experience in tax preparation and planning and has been with Whitehouse and Company, CPA's since 2009. Justin was born and raised in southern Utah and loves spending time hunting, fishing, camping and golfing with his family.

Jennifer Wolken, Office Manager:

Jennifer was born in Southern California where she lived until 1996 when she moved to the Salt Lake area. She has worked in all areas of accounting for the past 22 years. She managed a large CPA firm in the Riverside California area and specializes in all areas of payroll procedures, payroll taxes, and office administration. Jennifer has been managing Whitehouse & Company since 1996. 

Ruby Ridd, Payroll Professional:

Ruby was born and raised in Salt Lake City. She attended the University of Utah before her employment with First Security Bank. She worked for First Security for 21 years, filling positions in several different departments. She joined the firm of Whitehouse and Company,CPA's in January 2001 bringing with her years of experience as an accounting assistant and payroll expert.

Jerry Bair, Tax Advisor:

Jerry holds a BA Degree in Fine Arts from Brigham Young University and Masters Degree in Business from Webster University in Saint Louis Missouri. He served and retired from the United States Air Force. He was an agent for Ozark National Life and Investments Company where he enrolled clients with life insurance and mutual fund investments. He moved to Utah in 1990 and worked for the Utah State Tax Commission for for twenty years. He established and presented seminars in an educational outreach program for tax professionals and business owners. He also worked in the Tax Commission's Technical Research Group answering complex tax questions and resolving taxpayer issues and disputes with their tax accounts.

Jon Lee Dinkelman, Quickbooks Pro Advisor:

Jon was born and raised in West Jordan. He attended and graduated from Western Governors University with a degree in Business Management. Jon has worked in the accounting world for 12 years. He started with Whitehouse & Company in 2012 and is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor for both Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks online versions. He also prepares business and individual returns.

Theresa Richards, CPA, Tax Associate:

Theresa grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and earned a Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina. Theresa has experience advising clients and preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses and trusts in Noth Carolina and Utah. She has been with Whitehouse and Company since 2018.

Nicole Taylor, Payroll Professional:

Nicole was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah. She has spent over 20+ years in bookkeeping running a family business. Shen then moved on and worked for 2 years with a company handling payroll/bookkeeping and joined Whitehouse and Company in February 2017 where she handles write up and payroll for monthly and yearly clients.

Malorie Monson, Tax Associate:

Malorie graduated from Brigham Young University, Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She joined Whitehouse and Company in 2017 and enjoys working with clients on their individual tax returns. Malorie grew up in southeast Idaho and loves taking her three boys back to visit family any chance they get.
